Who This Is For
You don’t have to explain yourself to belong here.
People carrying trauma
Whether you can name what happened or not. Whether it was once or for years. Whether you’re ready to talk about it or just looking for something that makes sense of what you feel — you are welcome here exactly as you are.
Parents fighting for their kids
Navigating IEPs, school systems, residential placements, disability rights. Trying to understand a child whose behavior looks difficult but whose history explains everything. You need tools, not judgment.
People in someone else’s corner
Teachers, case workers, community members, loved ones who see what’s happening and refuse to look away. You need trauma-informed language and resources too. Your role matters.
Those with no one fighting for them
Children in residential facilities. Adults who aged out of systems with nothing. People whose reports went nowhere. People who were told their experience didn’t count. You have not been forgotten.
What This Space Offers
Three pillars. All of them free to access.
No credentials required. No stage of healing you have to be at. No pressure to perform recovery.
Trauma Education
Clear, honest explanations of how trauma lives in the body and shapes behavior. No clinical jargon. No pressure to perform recovery. Just understanding — because understanding always comes first.
Know Your Rights
Family advocacy resources, IEP support, school compliance guides, and tools for parents navigating systems designed to confuse and exhaust them. Your child’s rights are real. Let’s make them actionable.
Self-Guided Resources
Worksheets, templates, and trusted outside resources you can use at your own pace. No appointments. No waitlists. No requirement to be at any particular stage. Just tools, whenever you’re ready.
About This Space
“I have spent my entire life trying to get to the people who have no one fighting for them.”
This mission started long before there was a website. It started in church missions groups, at homeless shelters, on disaster relief trips, in youth outreach programs. A calling that never stopped — just found a bigger room. Professionally, I’ve worked directly with some of the most vulnerable people in the country — children in residential care, students with disabilities, families lost in systems that don’t explain themselves. Mary’s Mission exists because those experiences demanded it.
Why This Exists
Broken systems don’t fix themselves. Someone has to say it.
I’ve worked inside residential youth facilities. I’ve seen physical abuse. I’ve heard children report sexual assault by staff members and watched those staff keep their jobs. I’ve seen incident reports written to minimize injuries rather than document them. I reported what I saw. The state investigated. Nothing happened.
This mission exists because silence is exactly what broken systems count on. And I am not going to be quiet.
